A Boston-native, Perrault started in professional radio in New Hampshire in 1999 hosting a Saturday morning sports show and board-oping news/talk programs for WSMN. Some 13 years later, Matt would return home to New England where he became the General Manager of that same News/Talk station WSMN as well as afternoon show host/GM of ESPN New Hampshire.
It’s a career that has spanned the country including stops in Virginia (WINA), Huntsville AL (WUMP), Omaha (KXSP), Des Moines (KXnO), and Houston (KGOW).
Matt came to Vegas for SB Nation Radio to host “Game Night with Matt Perrault” which was heard on over 80 affiliates around the country including markets like Houston, Phoenix, Denver, Philly, Pittsburgh, Detroit, Memphis, and Las Vegas.
In January of 2018, Perrault was moved to host a new show called “Pushing The Odds” which airs from 12 to 3 pm eastern time and airs from a casino in Las Vegas.
Matt is also heavily involved in the marketing of the national network and has increased his personal revenue generation by over 15% every year.
As a radio professional, Perrault has received awards for his coverage of events like the Boston Marathon bombing and the shooting at the Westroads Malls in Omaha, Nebraska. Both events took place while he was on-air and he helped talk his audience through the difficult moments as the events unfolded.
Matt has also worked for established stations such as WEEI in Boston and 610 Sports in Kansas City. He has lived in 8 states over his 20 year radio career and is proud to say that he still loves radio as much as he did during the fall of 1996 at WMUA 91.1 FM in Amherst.
Never shy to voice his opinions, Perrault has often caught the ears of sports fans for his honest approach to sports talk radio. Whether it be in the Northeast, the South, The Midwest, the West Coast or now nationally syndicated, Matt Perrault’s style and approach to topics have attracted an audience that enjoys interacting with him on a variety of subjects.
